Eventbrite is the default ticketing platform for independent and smaller events: club shows, comedy nights, festivals, conferences, classes, food events and community gatherings. Organisers set up and sell their own events directly, so the price you pay is the organiser's face value plus Eventbrite's fee, which the organiser may absorb or pass on.
It is a primary seller, not a resale marketplace, which means tickets are valid by definition and the main variable is the organiser's own refund policy. Eventbrite's catalogue is enormous and very long-tail; if you are looking for a local event that is not in an arena, it is frequently the only place it is listed. TixPanda links to Eventbrite search results; we do not read Eventbrite listings or show Eventbrite prices.
Things to watch for
- Refund policies are set by organisers and vary — check before buying.
- Fees may be absorbed or passed on depending on the organiser.
